So, being a freelance copy editor, proofreader and writer is the perfect job for me.

​Proofreading comes naturally to me; I do it automatically wherever I go – whether it's menus, flyers, websites, or best-selling books. You'd be surprised how many published books still contain errors. Crikey!

My previous career as a legal secretary honed my eye for detail and taught me to prioritise my workload to meet deadlines. So you can be sure I will meet yours and my work will be done to a high standard.

Deciding I needed a career change that would build on my existing skills, I obtained a Diploma in Proofreading and Editing from the College of Media and Publishing. I'm pleased to say I passed with distinction - and so began my new career.  

When I'm not correcting and perfecting, I enjoy making chainmaille jewellery. 

Being South African, I love the outdoors and all wildlife. I'm fortunate to live in Berkshire, where I can look up and see deer on the lawn, squirrels in the trees, and birds in the sky – right outside my windows. Bliss.

I offer my clients a friendly, personal, and professional service. I'd love to work with you to perfect another little bit of the written world.
